The office building which is home to Lea overlooks Kings Park, the city’s central native botanical park. It is here that I stumbled across her inspiration, the local Grevillea flower. Lea’s form could be viewed as an abstraction of the flower and its elegant curling pistils.
Created from bare copper tube and hand blown glass shades, Lea floats above the building’s entry Foyer….a captured moment in space.
This light was commissioned specifically for this location as an engaging sculptural piece that also offers both a lighting solution and its stakeholders a unique branding identity.
